AJIRA DIGITAL TRAINING: DIGITAL SKILLS FOR DIGITAL WORK
The office of the Dean of students, career services and ICT department partnered with the ministry of Information, Communications and Technology through the Ajira Digital program to train students on digital skills. The Ajira Digital aimed to introduce trainees to digitally enabled jobs and provide the tools, training and mentorship needed to earn income from digital work. The one week training program encompassed both theoretical concepts and technical training with over 500 trainees creating Ajira accounts.
